My Healthcare Federal Credit Union has been serving employees of the health care community since 1974. The credit union was originally formed under the name of HCA Federal Credit Union and was chartered to serve the health care community of North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. The Credit Union worked to expand its membership services to include several other health care facilities in Florida and the state of Virginia. In 2010, Florida Healthcare Credit Union merged into HCA Federal Credit Union, and the name was officially changed to My Healthcare Federal Credit Union (MyHCFCU). This further extended the options of providing the very best in financial services to all members from both credit unions; adding AvMed Healthcare Plans, UF Health/Shands, and many others to the available field of membership.

In October 2019 MyHCFCU excitedly announced that we were granted approval to expand our field of membership once again, with the ability to now serve ALL health care workers in the state of Florida. In January 2022, that was expanded once more to allow MyHCFCU to serve healthcare workers nationwide!
